Magento Configuration Options
When integrating a new Magento site, there are many different options available to customise the integration.Orders
1. Orders
a. Enabled: Toggles weather you wish Linnworks to manage Orders from this site.
b. Mark orders as despatched: If ticked, this option will mark a Magento order as ‘despatched’ on the channel once it has been processed in Linnworks.
c. Raise invoice when order is despatched: This option will try and raise an invoice for an order regardless of payment status. This will trigger any payment capture actions on your payment gateway.
d. Capture invoice once raised: This option will capture the invoice once it has been raised and pull it down into Linnworks.
e. Magento email notification on dispatch: When an order is marked as completed on Magento, Linnworks will tell Magento to send a dispatch notification email to the customer.
f. Download Pending Orders: This will tell Linnworks to download pending orders as well as open orders.
This option will pull down pending orders based on Payment method, so you will need to make sure that the method is defined in ‘Payment Method Mapping’
g. Pending Order from Date: This can be used to download a back log of pending orders from before you integrated the channel.
h. UTC Offset: Here you can define the offset from the UTC time zone. For example -1 will set the time back 1 hour
i. Is MultiStore: Linnworks can determine if this integration is for a site that is part of a multi store set up.
You will need to define the site ID, so Linnworks knows what site to download orders from.
To find the site ID on your Magento site, check the orders list and use the prefix as the site ID eg MAGENTO200000003 is Site ID 2
2. Shipping Mapping
You can use this button to map shipping services from your Magento service to Linnworks.
3. Payment Method Mapping
This allows you to Map a Payment method from Magento to a method already in Linnworks.
The list will only display the payment methods used to pay for orders from the last 30 days
Note that pending orders will only be downloaded if they are paid for using one of the methods defined on this screen.
4. Inventory
a. Inventory Sync: This will enable weather Linnworks will sync inventory with this Magento channel
b. Inventory Update from location: This option will allow you to update stock from a specific location. You can use the drop down menu to define this location.
c. Work by SKU 9not product ID) This defines how LinnLive updates product information to Magento. By default it will work by SKU numbers, but you will need to un-tick this option if your SKU is made up of numbers only.
d. Do Not Mark As Out Of Stock: Usually, when an item is out of stock in Linnworks, Linnworks notifies the channel that you are out of stock. If this option is ticked, it will not tell the site that your product is out of stock.
5. Order Calculation
a. Catalog Prices Include Tax: This option tells Linnworks whether or not your Magento Catalog items Include tax.
b. Shipping Tax Inclusive: This option will tell Linnworks if the Shipping figure pulled down also includes Tax.
c. Use order row total: This will instruct Linnworks to use row values to calculate totals, rather than base values.
