Feature Buttons
By tapping the buttons panel on the left of the screen, a new pane will open showing a list of features, these includE
Print Receipt
This allows you to print a customer receipt for an order that has not yet been finalised. The system will print a receipt showing details of what is in the order list at the time the button is pressed.
Open Drawer
This opens the cash drawer to also the user to access the money without having to make a sale
Clear Sale
This will clear all the products in the product list
Park Sale
You can use this button to park a sale and save it for later. To park a sale press the 'Park Sale' button. This will clear the sale from the product list and save it for use later
You can view your parked sales by pressing the 'Parked' button. There is also a notification showing you how many sales you have parked on the button
From here, you can delete or renew each sale.
Customer Details
A customers details can be added into the epos system, to do this, tap the Customer Details button and enter the details in the fields provided.
Total Discount
You can add a Total Discount to an order. To do this press the 'Total Discount' button.
You can use the Keypad to change the discount value, the value is worked out using percentage.
Cash Reg
This button opens a screen showing the total amount of money in the cash drawer, both in cash and card receipts. It also allows the user to view more detailed reports
Once pressed, the buttons on the left open a browser window that will display details on every transaction.
The End Day button forces the epos system to start a new business day ahead of time, any transactions made after tapping that button will be added to the next day’s sales.
Cash In and Out
This allows the user to change the amount of cash in the till drawer without making a transaction. This could be necessary when the till does not have enough or the right change, or there is too much money in the till and some needs to be dropped.
Refunds
The Linnworks EPOS system allows the user to refund a past transaction.
To do this, simply tap the ‘Refund’ Button and scan the receipt barcode
The receipt barcode can be found at the bottom of the receipt and looks like this
Once the barcode has been scanned into the scan field, the products that were bought will be displayed in the order list
Here, you can tap the ‘refund’ section of the product to set the refunded properties and tap 'refund' to complete the product.
Load Customer
Clicking the Load Customer button loads up a search form where you can search existing customers and tie the current EPOS order to that customer. This allows you to track sales through EPOS and also validate coupons.
Print Coupons
The print coupons button allows you to print coupons from within EPOS using the receipt settings. Printing coupons will create a new instance of the particular coupon with a randomly generated barcode and tied to the customer currently loaded, if loaded at all. If printing a new account coupon you can specify the balance of the coupon.
