SECURITY1.1 Linn Systems treat Security Concept and Customers Personal Information very seriously, ensuring that your privacy is protected at all times. 1.2 Linn Systems does not store any credit card information anywhere on our system. Credit Cards are processed directly via PayPal and any recurring payment profile is managed by PayPal. 1.3 Linn Systems will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. This is in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998). We may use personal information to send customers promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if a customer tell us that they wish this to happen. 2. EVALUATION AND SUBSCRIPTIONS2.1 Linn Systems provides evaluation periods for potential customers on certain products. 2.2 Evaluation Products are completely free of charge and free of any obligation to purchase/subscribe and are available for evaluation purposes only. Once evaluation period is ended, a potential client will need to consider whether to subscribe to the services or not. 2.3 Payments for subscriptions are only applied once a customer has registered and subscribed for one of the software products or services provided by Linn Systems. Payments will then be generated on a recurring subscription basis, on the day a customer had originally subscribed. Invoices will be generated automatically for every payment and are stored in Account Management System, allowing customers to be fully aware of payments made. 2.4 Any selected package can be downgraded after 90 days of original subscription date. Any selected package can be upgraded any level tier up at any given time. Upon upgrading a subscription package an initial payment will be taken for the difference between two packages. The remaining balance of your existing subscription will be deducted from the initial payment of the new subscription. A customer’s billing date will remain unchanged. 3. SUBSCRIPTION REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS3.1 A customer is entitled for a refund within 14 days from the Subscription Date. Once a refund is issued, Linn Systems will delete customer’s details/databases and will deactivate the software. Linn Systems will not provide any refunds after 14 days period. Remote training sessions are considered services rendered and are not refundable. 3.2 Customers are entitled to cancel a subscription at any time. To cancel a subscription, a customer will need to log into the Account Management System and go through Cancellation Procedure. An account will remain active until next billing date is due and will be deactivated thereafter. 3.3 Licences and Subscriptions are not for Resale. 4. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY4.1 Linn Systems reserves the right to suspend or cancel a customer’s access to any or all of our services, where Linn Systems decides that an account has been inappropriately used. 4.2 Linn Systems will suspend or cancel access to an account which:
5. CHANGES TO SUBSCRIPTION COST5.1 Subscription costs are subject to change and are annually reviewed. Linn Systems may increase or decrease subscription due to VAT changes, or as a result of changes in our business strategy, market changes, rising demand for our products and services. In case VAT is increased or decreased, Linn Systems will act accordingly to adjust that VAT difference for our prices and services. 5.2 If Linn Systems decide to revise prices for products and services, subscribed customers will not be affected for the period of 12 month from their original subscription date. After 12 month time, revised prices will take effect. The maximum margin percentage for prices to be revised is 15% increase within 12 month. 6. ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR BESPOKE MODULES/AD-HOC EXPORTS/REMOTE SUPPORT AND TRAINING6.1 When a customer requires any modules to be developed or any other activity which involves our developers' time and any costs involved, Linn Systems will raise an invoice which has to be settled prior to work commencing. Unsettled invoices get invalidated after 20 days from the issue date. Linn Systems will not issue refunds for services rendered. 6.2 Standard, Extended and Priority Support levels do not include any bespoke work, ad-hoc exports, additional remote sessions or any setup, other than those outlined in a subscription package or agreed with Linn Systems prior to subscribing. 6.3 Any bespoke work and modifications (examples are: scripts, exports, reports, templates, etc.) are supported on a bespoke basis and may incur further maintenance costs.
