Shipping

FedEx Certification

Live

We are excited to announce that we are officially FedEx certified. This means that you can install the FedEx integration in Linnworks and set it up within minutes. Onboarding is straightforward and there’s no need for any developer involvement. To enable this integration, simply follow these instructions here.

FedEx Home Delivery Updates

Live

Following a few updates, shipments for the FedEx Home Delivery Service are now designated as residential. This means you can now receive accurate residential addresses for this service and accurate quote rates for these orders.

Fulfillment Networks

Closed Beta

Instead of moving orders to one location, you can move them to a group of locations. Linnworks will then decide which location will fulfill the order based on the availability of stock at the location. Find out more here.

Warehouse Management

Pickwaves for Warehouse Transfers & FBA

Live

Warehouse management users can now:

• Generate a pickwave for the items they’re shipping to FBA.
• Generate a pickwave when other warehouses request stock from their warehouse.

Inventory Management

Amazon FBA API Shipments Changes

Live

Amazon made updates to its API 1st March 2023, meaning certain functions when creating, editing or viewing FBA shipments in Amazon Seller Central will not be reflected or updated in Linnworks.

In order to avoid errors, Linnworks users should only create, edit and view FBA Shipments within Linnworks. We strongly advise against switching between Linnworks and Amazon Seller Central when managing or viewing FBA shipments as Amazon will no longer sync shipment updates between Linnworks and Amazon Seller Central. It will cause the FBA shipments to be read only and error messages will be presented. If this happens, a new FBA shipment will have to be created.

Prepare FBA Shipments

Live

You no longer have to use Amazon to prepare shipments when you’re sending stock to Amazon FBA Warehouses. You can now manage shipment details for Amazon FBA from the convenience of the Linnworks platform. This feature will allow you to:

• Pick a shipping option – ocean, ground or air
• Pick a shipping carrier
• Pick the size of the shipment
• Get a shipping quote
• Manage boxes and pallets
• Get shipping labels for pallets, boxes

Update FBA Shipments

Live

Save valuable time by being able to adjust FBA shipments after submitting an original Shipping Plan. It will be possible to add new products, remove initially included products and edit quantities to ship.

Stock at Risk Widget

Alpha

The new stock at risk widget shows you an overview of the total stock you have at risk, alongside a breakdown of individual SKU variations that are running low and need to be re-ordered, ensuring you always have the right stock levels on hand.

Improve your business performance by effectively managing Amazon Vendor orders centrally in Linnworks. The Amazon Vendor channel integration allows you to connect to your Amazon Vendor seller account via API. With this integration, you can accept/decline Amazon purchase orders via the Retail Procurement feature as well as fulfill Amazon direct fulfillment orders via the Direct Fulfillment feature. This dashboard provides key metrics to help you forecast and stay in control of your inventory, offering a visual overview of your performance. This dashboard is currently in Alpha with a handful of customers and will be developed based on user feedback.
